Kaija Palokas 1961-2012
Today starts the greatly anticipated second annual Tango Frostbite international tango festival in Helsinki Finland. The festival is a big deal for the growing tango community in Finland and we will have an amazing 4 days of milongas and classes with hundreds of dancers, great maestros, dj's and an orchestra.


However we start the festival with sad news as just a few days ago our community had a tragic loss of one of our key members Kaija Palokas. She was an exceptional person, organizer and a dancer and she will be greatly missed. She loved milongas so this one is for you Kaija.

  1. I love this tanda of milongas! But I always play it in the exact opposite order...how funny :).

  2. I'm hesitant to start with very fast milongas and usually start a bit slower and pick up the pace through out the tanda. But maybe I'll try to reverse this one and see how it feels.
